Robitussin Total Cough, Cold & Flu Extra Strength Nighttime

Take every 6 hours or as directed by a doctor. Do not take more than 4 doses/24 hrs.

Fever Reducer / Pain Reliever Acetaminophen (Extra Strength) 500 mg

Cough Suppressant Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 15 mg

Decongestant Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (PSE) 30 mg

Antihistamine Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:

Citric acid, D&C Red No. 33, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate dihydrate, sorbitol, sucralose, water.

Liver warning - Acetaminophen may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage if you take: more than the recommended dose in 24 hours, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, while drinking 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine, sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, unusual tiredness, loss of appetite.

Allergy alert: Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include skin reddening, blisters, rash. If any of the above noted symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical help right away.

Do not use if allergic to acetaminophen (If not sure whether drug contains acetaminophen, ask doctor or pharmacist); with other drugs containing acetaminophen, other cough and cold drugs, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or other drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease, or within 2 weeks after stopping these drugs.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have; a chronic cough (as occurs with smoking); a cough with excessive phlegm (mucus); difficulty breathing; chronic lung disease (e.g. chronic bronchitis, asthma or emphysema) as these could be signs of a serious condition, liver, kidney, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, or are; taking blood thinning drug warfarin, sedatives, tranquilizers, drugs for weight control, pregnant or breastfeeding, any other serious medical condition.

When using this product drowsiness or excitability may occur; alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness; avoid alcohol; do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness.

Stop use and ask a doctor if sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days; fever lasts more than 3 days; pain lasts for more than 5 days; symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days; you develop a fever (>38°C), rash or persistent headache, are nervous, dizzy or can’t sleep, have difficulty or pain when urinating; any new symptoms appear.

Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
