• How it works

  The immune system of young children is still developing, which increases their risk of catching respiratory infections.

  HELIXIA® Kids Natural DefenseTM is formulated with pleuran, a naturally sourced beta-glucan, which helps prevent and reduce the incidence of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections due to its ability to regulate the immune system.

• Daily Protection

  You should start giving your child HELIXIA® Kids Natural DefenseTM in the fall, before the peak winter months, and administer it daily over a 3- to 6-month period.

  It comes in a bottle with an enclosed measuring cup for convenience. Give your child 1 mL per 11 lb. (5 kg) of body weight. Please use the dosing chart as a guide.

• Start administering HELIXIA® Kids Natural DefenseTM in the fall, before the peak winter months, and administer it daily over a 3- to 6-month period.
• Please refer to the above chart for proper dosage by age or weight.

Formats

120 mL bottle with an enclosed measuring cup

• Active ingredient: Pleuran (beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucan)
• Other ingredients: Citric acid, D-fructose, potassium sorbate, water, vitamin C

• Do not use it if your child is allergic to mushrooms or to any of the other ingredients in this product.
• Consult a healthcare professional prior to use in children younger than 3 years of age.
• Consult a healthcare professional prior to use if your child has an autoimmune disorder or is under immunosuppressive treatment.
• Children with organ transplants must not take this product.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Do not use it after the expiry date.

Side effects

There are no known side effects. Consult a healthcare professional if your child has any side effects from taking this product.

Recommended storage conditions

Store in a dry place at room temperature. Protect from humidity, freezing, and direct sunlight.

After opening, the bottle should be properly closed and stored in the refrigerator at 2 °C to 8 °C. Use within 3 months after opening.
