Benylin Herbal Cough Syrup Ivy Leaf

Medicinal Ingredients:
8.25 mg/mL Ivy Leaf dry extract (Hedera helix L. leaf). DER 4–8:1 (extraction solvent: 30% ethanol (m/m)).

Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Citric acid, potassium sorbate, purified water, sorbitol, xanthan gum.

• Uses

  Relieves cough, loosens mucus, decongests the chest.

  Directions 

  Shake well before use. Use the enclosed measuring spoon. After each use, rinse the dosing device with water and dry it. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use 3 months after opening.

  Adults (12 years and older):

  
  Take 4 mL 2-3 times daily; or 6 mL 1-2 times a day (equivalent to 66-99mg daily dose Ivy Leaf dry extract).

Do not use:

• If you are allergic to any ingredients

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

• In children under 2 years

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control center or doctor. Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms worsen, last longer than one week, or if new symptoms occur.

Ivy Extract may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or abdominal and epigastric pain in some people. Use of Ivy with antitussives such as codeine or dextromethorphan is not recommended without medical advice.

• Do not use if security band around cap is missing or broken.

  Store at 15 to 30°C

  Keep out of the reach of children.
