Benylin Extra Strength Cold, Mucus & Phlegm Relief Syrup, 100 ml

Medicinal Ingredients: Each 5 millilitres or 1 teaspoon (tsp.) contains 200 milligrams guaifenesin and 15 milligrams menthol. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, citric acid, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, polyethylene glycol, polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, water, xanthan gum. Read the complete label before use and follow all directions. DO NOT USE with any other cough/cold medications.

• Uses
• Temporarily relieves

  • helps loosen phlegm or mucus and thin lung secretions

  • sore throat pain due to common cold

  • chestcongestion or wet cough

  • Adult Use Only (12 years and older):

  • Take 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6 hours

  • Do not take more than 8 tsp. (40 mL) in 24 hours.

Do not use

• more than the recommended dose

• with other products containing any of these active ingredients or other cough/cold medications

• if allergic to any of the ingredients

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you

• are taking other medications

• have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema

• cough with excessive phlegm (mucus)

• difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions

• are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• you develop allergic wheezing, rash oritching

• sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days

• new symptoms appear, yoursymptoms worsen, or last for more than 7 days

• are accompanied by a high fever (>38°C), persistent headache or the production of thick yellow/green phlegm.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose: Call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
